One light and radiant looking upon the earth reflects the sun.
The other dark and mysterious looks out to the universe.
Which face am I?

After the rain the road glistens.

Second Lunch

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Those ochre cobblestones were removed by those
Who in taverns dream of uncertainty,
Who pass electric guitars for inspiration
And in cluttered malls abandon shoppers
To shoe boxes and perpetual coffee.

Those wild strawberries were sprayed by those
Who starving masquerade as full
Who pass tubes for nature
Who make only fun of everything
And hide the mirrors before we discover who.
